Yes. Emberbrook is a real village that is currently in development. We’re in the early planning stages, focused on bringing a walkable, fantasy-inspired community to life. The vision is rooted in sustainability, gentle magic, and intentional living.

The planned location is North Carolina. We do have a more specific location in mind, and while we’re keeping that private for now, know it’s already been lovingly mapped out and carefully chosen.

Since Emberbrook is designed to be a walkable village, there will be no cars in the heart of the village to keep it peaceful and community-focused. There will be space for cars on the outskirts of the village for those who need them (emergency, delivery, and for people to get to their homes), but we envision the community being centered around foot traffic, much like a cozy European village.

There’s no official timeline just yet. Right now, we’re focused on growing the community, refining the vision, and preparing for next steps like feasibility studies, land acquisition, and architectural planning. You can follow along for updates via our Discord server or social channels.

No. Emberbrook isn’t a themed attraction or performance space. It’s a real residential village inspired by magic, timeless beauty, and a refined storybook atmosphere. While we do plan to host seasonal festivals and special gatherings, the heart of Emberbrook is community and everyday living, not roleplay. That said, we welcome imagination, creativity, and self-expression in ways that feel authentic and comfortable to you!

While we’re not accepting financial contributions just yet, the best way to help in this phase is by following along, sharing the vision, and becoming part of the Ember community. Each space will be deeply influenced by the village’s lore. We also envision opportunities for small businesses to be part of a permanent, lore-aligned marketplace.

There’s no official dress code. While Emberbrook is designed with an elegant, whimsical aesthetic, how you choose to express yourself is completely up to you. We imagine many residents and visitors may be inspired to dress in ways that reflect the village’s charm, but fantasy-inspired clothing isn’t required. It’s all about living beautifully, in your own way.

The village is still in its early development phase, so funding is unfolding gradually and intentionally. While we’re currently self-funding the foundational work, we plan to pursue crowdfunding and future investment partnerships to bring Emberbrook to life, step by step, and always with care.

The best way to support Emberbrook right now is by sharing the vision, helping grow our community, and joining us on Discord. We’ll be using that space to connect with future partners, creatives, and dreamers as the project evolves. When the time comes, it will also be the first place we announce opportunities to collaborate or contribute in meaningful ways. That’s a question we’re asking too, and much will depend on what unfolds through feasibility studies, partnerships, and the broader development process. Emberbrook isn’t being designed like a traditional neighborhood. Each home, whether a cottage, townhome, or apartment, is being thoughtfully imagined to reflect the story, aesthetic, and spirit of the village itself.

Rather than mass-produced or cookie-cutter housing, every detail, from layout to materials, is being chosen with care to create something immersive and enduring. Naturally, that level of craftsmanship will influence pricing.

That said, our hope is to offer a range of housing types to suit different needs, stages of life, and paths forward. While Emberbrook may not be driven by affordability alone, we are deeply committed to creating something that feels meaningful to live in, not just a place to live.

Emberbrook is led by Elissandria Draymere, as the founder and creative director. She is responsible for the vision, storytelling, and overall creative direction of the village. That said, this is planned as a professionally developed project, and we’ll be working closely with architects, sustainability experts, engineers, accessibility consultants, and other qualified professionals every step of the way. While Elissandria is guiding the heart and soul of Emberbrook, the execution will be handled by the right people, with the care and expertise it deserves.
